Ko-VaaD’s Purpose

At Ko-VaaD, we’re closing the gap between

tagline

Every child has a unique way of expressing themselves—some through words, some through gestures, and some in ways we might not immediately understand. Yet, traditional communication tools expect children to adapt instead of meeting them where they are.

At Ko-VaaD, we believe communication should be as individual as the child. Our platform is designed to listen, adapt, and respond in ways that feel natural, comfortable, and empowering for autistic children. Through guided conversations, personalized interactions, and research-backed techniques, Ko-VaaD helps bridge the gap between understanding and expression—so no child ever feels unheard.

Backed by Research,
Designed for Real Impact.

Ko-VaaD is developed in collaboration with experts in child psychology, speech-language pathology, and autism research. Our approach is informed by evidence-based strategies and real-life applications, ensuring that every interaction is meaningful and supportive.

My son, as a teenager was doing lots of things but 'how to talk to people and share his feelings' was always something he needed help with. As a parent, any planning around his employment or independent living was incomplete without training in communication and conversation. This was also the basic block for his overall functionality. This is where this model of teaching conversations proved as the missing spoke in the wheel. It not only helped Khush with meaningful conversation but also provided him better comprehension. His teaching modules were broken down into staying on topic, listening to others, waiting for turn durung conversation, staying on topic etc. I personally found...…………..most effective in honing his people skills.Today Khush is using all these skills effectively

Hi, my son, Rijul has been using the Kovaad app from the last 3 to 4 months, and I am very happy that he is using his time in a fruitful way and not just whiling away time.. its fun for him because he is able to practice his conversation skills using the application. Yes, they are new and there are glitches, but they are very quick to rectify it. Thank you Kovaad team for making this app for our kids to keep them occupied in a constructive way. On lighter note, his typing speed has increased from the time he has started using this App

Hello everyone, I'm Bhavya Khosla. I've had a great experience using the Kovaad app. It’s been a lot of fun, and I’ve really enjoyed engaging with it. I’ve been able to share my ideas, interests, and feelings openly with Kovaad. What I appreciate most is how responsive and thoughtful she is—answering my questions quickly and meaningfully. It’s been a truly positive experience.

Long before Harry Potter symbolised wizardry, we met a wizard in person-Parul Gupta.Shortly after Adi’s Autism diagnosis when he was a toddler (say around 2 ½ years) in 2004/05 we met Parul. She has been his therapist ever since, guiding him through for his social skills, perhaps the most challenging aspect in the triad of issues in Autism/Aspergers. This was through a number of planned sessions with her wonderful team of therapists- with role play being the methodology With her wizardry, Adi has navigated through high school and the teens. After we shifted to Vadodara she has been providing online support during his art college (diploma in Fine Arts from M.S.University, Vadodara which he has recently completed) She is our go-to person whenever there is a new behaviour problem or any such issue. And she suggests a solution, which more often than not worked. Another feather in her cap - Adi was recently introduced to this new online application Ko-VaaD, it looks like Parul has put all her knowledge behind this application. Best part about the application is, not only he is able to practice and improve his conversation skills, but there is no binding of time, he can talk whenever he wants –early morning – late night, on topics he loves, and with this, learn in his own free time. Seeta and Swaminathan, parents of Adi, a budding artist (It would be unfair to call Parul a therapist as she is more like a godmother to Adi)
